This Manga has everything! Action, Drama, Comedy, and a hint of ecchi. I don't know about you but those four Genres together make for an incredibly entertaining read. Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru is one of those Martial Arts Mangas where, there are no special powers by using Ki, Chi, etc; It is just the pure martial arts refined through hard work Manga, that I love too read so much.
If you ever get the chance I seriously recommend reading Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru, it is honestly one good manga. The only reason why I think this doesn't have an anime adaptation yet is because it's kind of Mature, it's not something little kids should be watching because it shows some pretty violent scenes here and there, but I think it's pretty normal seeing as it is a martial arts manga. It's not even violence most of it is just fair competition that gets a little graphic.
(Spoiler Alert)Plus in the later chapters of the manga, there is a Gay Brazilian that will rape some guys, and will try to rape Minoru and the other supporting characters. He will eventually become a member of their team and will become a character for comedic relief by trying to "get with"(if you know what I mean) Minoru(protagonist) all the time, and a few other good looking guys in the manga.

Minoru makes new friends and learns some of their dark pasts, including a shocking death that reveals motives for revenge.
