Top 10 Strongest Characters in the DC universe Part ONE

Hello guys! If you've seen my video, that means you're curious as to who these beings are and what they can do. Now I'm no expert, I could be wrong and I might have missed a few more powerful beings than these guys, but  I am a 100% sure that my top 3 is Legit. I am going to be posting this in two parts, so let's start with the top 10 to 6.

10. Eclipso
"We are linked, from now until the very end of creation! Which, incidentally, should occur any day now!"

In the beginning, God's Spirit of Wrath was made flesh to punish the wicked and wash the world clean of vice and iniquity. Then, he was known as Galid. Wrath, by definition, is driven largely by anger, whereas vengeance requires a more discerning hand...In that way, the spirit of wrath was stripped of rank and privileges by its successor, the Spectre.

Split asunder by God's newly anointed Spirit of Vengeance, Wrath's physicality was trapped within the "Heart of Darkness", A black diamond mined on distant Apokolips that brought only woe and misery to anyone who came into its possession.

What remained of God's Wrath was banished quite appropriately to the dark side of the moon. But not for long, as the gemstone was found in Africa by a treasure hunter and separated into 1000 black diamonds. A single, well-placed strike can split a seemingly indestructible diamond. The Heart of Darkness was thus shattered, a thousand Shards of equal cut and carat, Each containing a sliver of evil, were scattered across the globe.

Eclipso found a way to act through these black diamonds. These diamonds appear and entice an angry person into letting Eclipso possess them. The first individual known to be possessed was Bruce Gordon. Eclipso would only appear during eclipses. Eclipso later possessed several heroes and sought to use them to destroy Earth. He was defeated by Starman (Will Payton)'s sacrifice.

I Picked Eclipso as my top 10 because he can be as strong as the Spectre(not sure but some say even stronger).

 Powers:

-Unique Physiology: An off-color (blue-grey or purple) circle would appear covering the rightmost two-thirds of his face, reminiscent of a partial eclipse.

9. Mr. Mxyzptlk

The history of Mister Mxyzptlk is unknown before he introduces himself to Superman in his most known form, although it is suggested that he visited the universe before in other forms.

Mxyzptlk first appeared on the Post-Crisis Earth in Metropolis posing as a dashing young man named Ben Deroy, who convinces Lois Lane to marry him. Superman quickly learns that he's really an imp from the 5th dimension. The imp agrees to go home, undoing everything he has done magically, if Superman can get him to spell, type, or say his name backwards. He then proceeds to make up a name for himself on a giant typewriter, choosing "Mxyzptlk" as he figures it will be nearly impossible for Superman to accomplish. After putting up with Mxy's antics, Superman grabs the giant typewriter where Mxy left it and defiantly said that the imp could never type the name forwards. Mxy used his magic to type the same exact keys - but Superman had rewired the typewriter, so Mxy had to go home. After he was gone, some scientists theorized that he would not be able to return for 90 days

Powers

-Magic: This ability seems to be the core from which all of Mister Mxyzptlk's powers manifests from. With this ability, he can control earthly things like people and even other aliens mentally with his mind, and can cause levitation in objects including himself, just by thinking. Mister Mxyzptlk can also banish any organism and cause it to disappear at a mere thought.

-Creation: Utilizing his core ability, which is magic, Mxyzptlk can easily create entire worlds, realms, dimensions, loopholes, vortexes, wormholes, vacuums in space, and much more, making him an extremely powerful entity against Superman in the entire universe.

-Teleportation: Utilizing his core ability, which is magic, Mxyzptlk can disappear and reappear at a mere thought, capable of moving through time and space, and can appear anywhere in the entire universe. In one case, he was able to teleport Bizarro from his planet to Earth almost instantly just by snapping his fingers together, demonstrating a scope to this ability.

-Reality Warping: Utilizing his core ability, which is magic, Mxyzptlk can manipulate logic and the fundamentals of laws with ease, and is often seen doing so by making simple gestures or other motions. He can also reshape earthly objects and make them into something else entirely, as well as create structured lifeforms with full complexions that don't exist just by thinking, and in that regard, he can also make any living organism vanish and become non-existent at a single thought.

-Size Alteration
-Shape Shifting
-Immortality: Mxyzptlk is able to use magic to survive most attacks, making him impossible to defeat without exploiting his weaknesses.

-Flight: Mxyzptlk is able to fly as fast as or even faster than Superman thanks to his magic.

I had trouble Choosing between Mxyzptlk and Spectre as my top 9 because when I was researching these two, I found that Mxyzptlk was able to beat Spectre once but it was a non-canon comic, so I did more research and found that Spectre has been able to beat 2 other 5D imps quite easily. Spectre's power is only limited to what the Presence wants him to do so I went with Spectre as Top 8 instead.

8. The Spectre

"Saving this man is a waste of time. He would have been welcomed into God's kingdom, reunited with his father. While here in Italy, a boy rides his bike through the night and is struck dead by the driver. The murderer has been arrested, but that is not enough. He must feel his insides pop open as the boy's did. His rotten soul must be crushed like the boy's skull. The killer will taste the vengeance of the Spectre!"

In the beginning, there was the Presence, the One Above All. Such was the Presence's nature that His aspects had names and identities of their own. At His direction, certain of these aspects were charged with certain functions and duties. Among them were His Wrath, called Eclipso, His Mercy, called the Radiant, and His Vengeance, called the Spectre.

Three seconds after creation, there was a rebellion in Paradise. A rebel band of angels led by Lucifer Morningstar attempted to wrest control of Heaven from the Presence. As punishment, they were cast down into Hell, where they became the beings that mortal men knew as demons. In time, one of the demons, a creature called Aztar, came to repent his rebellion, seeking forgiveness from the Presence; legend in Hell has it that he was a prince among the damned.

Aztar came before the gates of Heaven, where he was met by the archangel Michael. He prostrated himself before Michael, acknowledging his wrong-doing and his responsibility for what he had done, offering himself up to whatever punishment the Presence chose to impose.

The Presence's judgment on Aztar was that he would become a vessel for an aspect of the Divine - the Divine Wrath. Aztar's memory and consciousness would be wiped from existence. Aztar accepted with regret, hoping that some fragment of what he once was would be allowed to remain. The Wrath of God entered into Aztar, burning away everything he had been, transfiguring the remnants of his form into the Spectre Force.

Perhaps Aztar's wish was heard; millennia later, Jim Corrigan, the Spectre's then-host, saw a vision of Aztar's transformation, buried deep in the Spectre's core.

This Primal-Spectre was the one who punished Cain for the murder of his brother Abel, laying a mark upon Cain lest any should kill him. For that, Cain sought revenge on the Spectre, and through him, on the Presence.

When Eclipso fell to evil, it was the Primal-Spectre's duty to deliver punishment. The Primal-Spectre stripped Eclipso of his rank and privileges and tore him asunder, with Eclipso's power imprisoned in the black diamond known as the Heart of Darkness.

7. Anti-Monitor

Early Life
Oa started out as a peaceful planet with citizens of vast mental abilities and ambition. One of them, Krona, developed a screen to witness the dawn of time and caused an explosion on Oa. He was then sentenced to live forever in energy form. What happened during that explosion was the beginning of the Multiverse and all of the multitudes of its universes. Once the Oans took it upon themselves to fight for justice, some believed that they should destroy ALL evil. The other Oans did not agree and a civil war began. The ones of malevolent nature left for the dimension of Qward and sought the means to become all-mighty. In this universe, the Anti-Monitor was born on one of the moons as an excess of great energy taking form. At that same time in the positive matter universe,The Monitor was born of similar origin.

Soon the Anti-Monitor took over Qward by mere force and created a legion of troops with the power to throw lightning bolts. These people are called the Thunderers. Those of the Thunderers that proved to be his most trusted and powerful were then altered into living Shadows. Once he sensed The Monitor in the positive universe, he began a 1,000,000,000 year long war with him, which ended in both of them losing consciousness.

Powers
-Unique Physiology: The Anti-Monitor was one of the most formidable foes ever faced by the heroes. In addition to possessing vast size (varying from several meters to hundreds of meters). He has destroyed and absorbed countless universes, even The Monitor explains that over a thousand universes have been destroyed. Even The Spectre was unable to defeat him even after being augmented by many powerful sorcerers, one even included a fifth dimensional imp. Therefore he wields enough power to destroy a universe.
-Energy Projection: Ability to create waves that have the power to unmake matter at its most basic level.
-Energy Construct Creation
-Invulnerability: He's personally battled scores of the strongest heroes from hundreds of universes simultaneously without taking any damage whatsoever.
-Energy Absorption: He consumed thousands of positive-matter universes to increase his power.
-Power Distribution: The Anti-Monitor also showed capable of greatly augmenting another being's powers, as he did with Psycho-Pirate, whose powers were increased to levels too much for him to handle.
-Reality Alteration
Abilities
-Leadership: He commanded an army of Qwardians and shadow demons, and had access to highly advanced technology capable of shifting, merging, or destroying entire universes.
-Genius Level Intellect
-Tactical Analysis

I picked Anti Monitor as my top 7 because during the Crisis of infinite earths story line, eve a full powered spectre couldn't beat him, showing he has more potential.

6. Krona

Origin
Krona belonged to the ancient Maltusian race and was a scientist sought to create intergalactic order, believing the only logical way was through knowledge. His thirst for understanding consumed him as he implemented perverse experiments to the detriment of the cosmos. Krona's ideas often clashed with his fellow Maltusians, including his protest over his brethren's contempt for emotions during their progress into becoming the Guardians of the Universe.

At some point, Krona was attacked by the Manhunters, the emotionless, robotic force created by the Guardians of the Universe, and was able to fend off. Afterward, Krona believed that the Manhunters are a flaw as an emotionless police force and decided to prove his theory by discreetly reprogramming them to commit a massive genocide of Space Sector 666; specifically the planet Ryut, where only five individuals, known as the Five Inversions, survived the massacre and founded the Empire of Tears. Among those five was Atrocitus, who would later found the Red Lantern Corps and swearing vengeance on the Guardians as he mistakenly believed them responsible for the devastation of his world. The massacre also caused the Guardians to abandon the Manhunters and forming the Green Lantern Corps.

Krona continued his forbidden experiments that involved witnessing the beginning of time itself, which was considered by the Maltusians a great taboo on the discovery of the origin. He succeeded in his experiment and managed to glimpsed the hand of creation depositing the speck that would become the entire cosmos. His machine exploded at that instant, and the universe was shattered causing the creation of the Multiverse as the universe replicates into an infinite number of parallel universes. At this same moment, the Antimatter Universe is created, unleashing evil into the cosmos; thus, giving birth to the Monitor and the Anti-Monitor. Krona's actions finally caught the attention of his fellow Maltusians, whom expelled him from their ranks and punished him for his crimes by converting him to a state of energy that was sent to circle all the universe for eternity. It was the actions of Krona that caused the Maltusians, who felt guilty for not having stopped Krona early on, to splitting into various groups (the Guardians of the Universe, Controllers, and Zamarons). Though banished, Krona vowed revenge and can only wait an opportunity to escape.

-Genius Level Intellect: Massive though incomplete knowledge on origin and creation of universes.

His powers might not seem much but in reality that's all he needs, so I picked him over the anti-monitor and spectre.
